Background

CCL-Independent Consulting has been providing IT litigation expert witness services since 1988. The more widespread use of computers, both in the home and workplace throughout the 90s created a demand for more specific Digital Forensic computer expert witness services which culminated in the formation of CCL-Forensics Ltd in 2004.

With all these years of experience to draw on, CCL-Forensics' analysts are well versed in presenting very technical issues in a non technical manner so that all parties can fully understand the digital evidence whether it is in written form or as Computer Expert Witnesses at Court.

Training & preparation

All CCL-Forensics Analysts also undertake a comprehensive training programme which prepares them for the rigours of courtroom cross examination. This programme includes Bond Solon training modules as well as internal training on courtroom skills from a trained legal professional.

Independent and impartial

More than 500 cases have now been completed by CCL-Forensics Ltd for both prosecution and defence teams. This is further evidence of our impartiality and one of the many reasons why we have a number of clients who continue to use CCL-Forensics analysts in cases requiring a digital forensic expert witness.
