Operations Manager

What do you do? 
I'm responsible for the operations team, managing the resources to deliver the best possible service, on time, everytime. With the help of our growing team I implement, maintain and look to improve various processes to ensure CCL-Forensics are the best in the industry.
Either from 1 or 2 cases being delivered a day or hundreds of exhibits being dispatched a week, every-one matters to us!

How did you get here? 
I have over 20 years experience in the electronics industry working with production, quality, sales and senior management supplying goods and services to military, automotive and telecom manufacturers. CCL-Forensics is an exciting technology company which encourages ideas and experiences to be shared.

Favourite part of the job? 
Every day is interesting, fast paced. Managing various projects and customer enquires.
The best part is working with a happy team who love to investigate, they have this fantastic ability to retreive vast amounts of information from the smallest of electronic devices.

Who do you look up to? 
Anyone taller than me at 6ft!!

How do you spend your spare time? 
Cycling with my two sons or challenging them to a computer game or two. I also enjoy a quiet moment with my wife in the garden watching our 4 white bantam chickens.
 
What's been the worst job you've ever had? 
None.
Everything I have done has been a learning experience and its up to you to make the most of each job. We have very little time, so much to see & do and yet no time to stand and ponder 'what if'.

What's your best joke? 
Definately not about chickens!!
There's one joke I always tell around an open camp fire after a drink or two, it involves a boy pushing his model train around a train track.. but it's a bit rude so I can't mention it here!
